Welcome to the very first episode of Stable Adjacent, the barn aisle conversation you've been missing.
I'm Jenna, the creator behind Stable Adjacent, and in this episode I'm joined by my friend and cohost Cait of Freedom's Pulse Bodywork. We're two lifelong horse girls, adult amateur equestrians, and self-proclaimed horse-obsessed women who've discovered that owning horses is a whole lot more complicated than our childhood selves imagined.
We thought we'd buy the horse, build an incredible bond, chase our riding dreams, and live happily ever after.
Instead, we're navigating vet bills, mystery lameness, saddle fitting, nutrition debates, bodywork, training setbacks, and the overwhelming realization that being an amateur equestrian apparently requires becoming an amateur expert in approximately 47 different fields.
